Sorry so late for the review. It was a Christmas gift. Arrived earlier than expected. Very nice classy piece. This is my first straight razor of any kind so It will take some care to get used to. Nice gift and would suggest to purchase. Thanx for a well made product.

I'm really weird about my barber tools, I like a little weight to them. The black widow razor however is by far the best straight razor I've had to date. The blades snap in unlike many of the razors I've used and because of this I don't have to worry about the blade shifting around. I'll definitely stick with this brand from now on.

I love this blade especially for tight work on my beard line. Be cautious this razor cuts very smoothly. Take your time. As a beginner the more you use it the easier it becomes. Goodbye Schick.

I have a fetish of purchasing great straight razors. This one by far from black widow was the best I ever bought!! Hands down the weight of the razor in your hand for smooth transitioning and reliability. I love the fact the blade comes out from the bottom of the holster less than 1/8 of inch for precise shaving. I’ve used other razors and again this one is the best. Thank you for proving me with great customer service and also a magnificent product. Definitely will be looking into other products from you guys.

Handle stays “stiff” so they don’t accidentally close on you. Very good quality. I use this every day in my barber shop.

These red and black are very nice Shavettes! I have several black widow shavettes. The metal models aren’t the best to hold but they work great. The wooden black widow is much thicker and easier to hold.

Amazing balance. The weight of the razor does all the work. No need to press down hard at all. Razor blades are sharp and no tugging on my whiskers. A friendly reminder to all, remember to properly prepare your facial hair before shaving (fair warning). Happy shaving all.
